Wearing sunscreen is also another form of wearing make up even though it can be colored or non-colored. It is important not just remove sunscreen and also remove dirt that accumulates during the day. There’s no set guideline for which types of cleansers are best for double cleansing; the most common practice is to wash your face with a pure oil, oil-based liquid cleanser, cleansing balm, gentle face scrub, or cleansing cloth and then follow with a regular, water-soluble cream, gel, or lotion cleanser that’s suitable for your skin type. You then move on to the rest of your skincare routine.
This involves using 2 different types of cleansers.
Type 1: Make up remover cleansers to sweep oil debris like sebum, makeup, SPF and pollutants. It can be cleansing oil/balm or micellar water. By getting rid of the oil debris, it will help the second water based cleanser to work effecively to remove grime and pespiration.

Type 2: Water based cleanser known as foam or gel cleanser. Depending your skin type get one that also hydrates, balanced or exfoliates.

Double cleanse give you a thorough cleanse and reitalized dull skin and allows skin care products to penetrate more effectively.
Fun Fact: Japan and Korea are pioneer founders of double cleansing in skin care routine.
The technique also became popular as part of the Korean 10-step skin care regime, which has migrated into Western culture in recent years.
This method is done only day and night. Over doing it will dry your skin.
However, please note this method does not work for all skin type. For sensitive, dry, rosacea-prone skin we recommend on first cleanse.
