EXFOLIATE YOUR FACE AT LEAST ONCE - TWICE A WEEK.

Exfoliating helps to clear off the top layer of our skin cells. That is why after exfoliating it helps to make our skin soft, smooth and brighter. Over-exfoliate will take away protective layer of our face and keeps moisture from escaping leaving us with aside dry skin, acne etc. Do you know there are 2 types of exfoliators.

Physical exfoliators: Scrubs and even brushes (motorised fuction). Recently, I came across with Singapore brand Ellure (Tomato Bubble Mask) has is good and easy to use for exfoliating functions which is safer and gentle. I bought from @utopiarose (I am using more of this because it was pocket friendly in terms of pricing and delivers its required functions). You can DM her find out more. I was also toggling with Serendi SPARKLING mask pack. It is a gel and sheet combo that give skin thorough cleansing treatment. I set this as a monthly must do routine. It can be purchased through #cocomo65 through q10. I have been quite a loyal fan for the longest time(consistent use of at least 1.5 years).

Chemical exfoliators: You can find them in Skincare ingredients. AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), BHA (beta hydroxy acid) I clouding salicylic acid. You might not notice even you have been using it everyday. They come in medicated wash, serum or home peels. I also use Hada Labo AHA+BHA mild exfoliating fash wash. It is still part of my skin care series I use since I was in my 20S. I am using on weekly Casmara Natural Peeling Tri-Active. It helps cell-renovation, moiturizing, regeneration and smoothing of micro contour of skin based on synergy of 3 acids on 3 levels skin which give an ultra deep facial cleansing. You can exfoliate more if your skin condition, ensure never overdo it. Dry/Sensitive skin, start with gentle products and slowly increase frequency to ensure skin do not react badly. Oily skin can accept exfoliation easily.

It is pretty obvious to know if you overdone it because reaction on skin will occur.

Chemical exfoliators is recommended to use before the physical exfoliator. Chemical exfoliator are less intense than physical ones.
